Great for keeping debris out. I recommend a heat gun around the edges for improved adherence.

Easy to install lift the cover set in place with or without tape. No issues.

Works like a charm. I hope I had it early in Fall when leaves started falling. But it is better late than never. Installation was not tough, make sure to watch videos on YouTube before you try to install it.

This is a very inexpensive upgrade and even a child can do it. It came with no instructions but there isn't really any need for it. Watch a Youtube video if you actually don't know what to do. Open frunk. Remove the cover. Remove the adhesive backing. Clean area it's going into. Put it in place. That's really it. Still plenty of airflow but no large debris getting through.

This prevents leaves from falling into the large air vent on model 3 and makes the car cleaning process quite easy. The adhesion is very strong and the fit is very snug. Super easy to install. Now with the cover in place there is no more a need to check whether the intake box is getting full.

I am so glad I bought this vent cover, it totally blocks all leaves falling into the vent, because I park under the trees at work. It’s super easy to install, perfect fitment. Thumbs up on this addition to my model 3.

Easy installation, item is as described. Can't tell yet whether it is effective at filtering debris.

Excellent product to prevent the leaves getting stuck in the AC vent.

Easy and precise install. Air seems to flow through with ease.

pretty good and easy to install, while I was installing this product, I found some leafs in my air vent already! I want to have this because I really thought Tesla got a poor design on this air vent, and the leafs proof me right!

Super easy to install. Upon opening up the spot to install I had to clean out a bunch of dried leaves and other debris. 100% this should prevent all of that trash from entering the air vent. Very cost effective and simple solution for the problem.

I've purchased a few products for my Model 3 from Basenor and each one has been great with this one being no exception. Simple to install and it looks like it will work great.

This part is a no brainer if you've ever opened your frunk cover and have seen leaves inside the vents. In my eyes, it'd be more of a pain down the line of having to clean the vents rather than just putting this on and not worrying.

This prevents leaves from falling into the large air vent on model 3 and makes the car cleaning process quite easy. I added this with newly added filters and hopefully the stink smell will never arrive again.

The screen fits perfectly in its place. It comes preinstalled with 3M double sided tape for secure installation. This will help a lot with all the pine tree needles flying all over the place in addition to other leaves and debris. Highly recommended.

I received the product the very next day! I was so excited to see that it was packaged with minimal waste. Go Basenor! The product definitely feels quality and sturdy. One thing I wish either included or in the product description was a how-to-install. I had to look up online how to remove the cover to install the vent grille.
The adhesion is very strong and the fit is very snug requiring some force to press down. All in all it does look really nice and I like the fact that it keeps large items like leaves out of the air vent. Good product!

I never park my car under the tree, period. But, as you can see from my first picture a leaf or two managed to sneak in under the hood and I was worried about my AC vents being clogged up with junk. That's why I bought this AC vent cover. There is no instructions but you must know how to pop the current cover from Tesla (super easy, you can watch youtube video if you didn't know how). Then, peel of the double tape on this cover and drop it in and put back the Tesla cover on top of it. As you can see from my second picture, it's seamless. Great functional product!

It only took a few days to receive my model 3 cabin air filter debris cover. Everything was well packaged and protected.
I opened the box and looked through the debris cover to understand how it would be installed. Since there were no instructions included, I had to go on YouTube to figure out how to safely open the air vent cover on my model 3.
Once I felt like I knew what I was doing, I proceeded to open the frunk and remove the top cover which came out easily. I could then see where the accessory battery is installed and where the intake for the cabin air system was.
The installation of the debris cover was easy. I peeled away the sticky tape provided and proceeded to place the debris cover onto the air intake system.
The cover fit well, although I had to apply a little bit of force to make sure that it fully seated itself around the entire inlet. After checking for proper seating, I put the factory top cover back on to the car.
I turned on the air conditioning and did not detect any air restrictions or air circulation noises, so things looked good.
If I had to change anything, I would recommend that the factory consider a different solution than applying sticky tape to the perimeter of this cover, for a few reasons:
1. the sticky tape is quite strong, and it seems like it would take a lot of force to remove this cover if I ever needed to service that area.
2. Although the debris cover is sized to properly to fit in the appropriate slot, with the addition of the sticky tape, the cover is now a few millimeters thicker and so requires somewhat strong force to make sure that it is properly inserted when installing. I would use either less sticky tape or develop a clipping system since inside of the air intake system there are horizontal plastic slots which this cover could simply clip onto, instead of using sticky tape.
Fortunately, I don't live in a climate which has too much debris, so I'm not sure I'll be able to tell the difference having this cover on or not, however I can say that it fit well and it seems like a good product.

Super easy to install no more leafs

Easy to install. There is a double sided tape around the protector, so the fit is nice and snug. Should protect against leaves.

Works great at keeping out leaves and debris from entering the fresh air intake

This is very nice item to my TESLA. At my work place I park under tree where small leaves can enter into air vent. With this new install I have piece of mind

The air inlet vent grille cover is made of quality plastic. Quick and easy to install. There are several videos on YouTube (model 3 vent install) on how to install the vent cover. Peel back the double sided tape and give it a some good pressure. It fits nice and snug. My car was covered with leaves and grass this weekend when I parked near a tree where a guy was mowing his year. So glad I had this installed!

The Model 3 is great, but clearly the engineers were too involved in California's weather to think about issues that are possible in other climates beyond snow. One of these issues is leaves clogging the air intake. I have had to clear the intake multiple times to keep the blower from trying too hard. I had a friend recommend me this. It was an easy install and it just does the job. What more can you want or need. If you live in a dry climate without much vegetation, this is not a necessary install. If you live in a place that has a beautiful fall sight (tons of shedding trees), this is a must have.
