Now I don't have to use my hands to open the trunk to put stuff. It is very easy to change the factory installed hood support. Just need a screwdriver to pop and change it.

Super easy to instal and work exactly as I wanted.
Bunch of things in my hands, and I’m trying to put it in my frunk - I have to manage to hold my things with one hand while I open the frunk. I was tired of that situation so I started looking up different options. Came across this - quick 10 minute change of lift support and good to go. It does add pressure when closing, but that’s part of the springs. Highly recommend this product!
Works great. Doesn’t slam the frunk open either like other manufactures’. I was pretty concerned about it putting stress on the struts, but these ones do just fine. Little bit more difficult to close (as expected). Just purchased the trunk set now from this company.
